Adventures in Love and beauty

Kim and I met at a time when most people are settling into their lives. Our meeting seems destined, brought together under the most trying of times. We survived those tough times, in a large part because we were able to lean on each other. We’ve now settled into a more normal life; well, as normal as two twin souls from established families now living under one roof with four kids and two dogs and two cats can.
We know we have been given a second chance at love, and a second chance at living a really good life. And we know that travel is one of the things we most want to do. We want to travel off the beaten path, to see things others never see, to discover hidden beauty in the landscape, and the sunset, and in each other.
So these are our travelogues. To the swamps of Florida; the rain forest of the Pacific Northwest; the ridge in our own backyard; to a secret river in the Grand Canyon; to the backcountry of Yosemite; to the backcountry and back roads of less traveled Nevada and Utah; to Joshua Tree.
